Steve's Wash and Wax, 804 Frontage N, Alamo TX 956-783-8482 delivered a good RV wash and wax at a reasonable price.
Busbee's Bar-B-Que & Catering 319 Main Street, Bandera, TX 78003 is a wonderful Texas Barbecue restaurant.
The Railroad Seafood Station has more than seafood.
Alan's Diesel Service at 103 N Victoria Rd, Donna, TX (956-464-4140) is a good place to have diesels serviced.
The Old Grist Mill has great food with amazing decor and ambience.
Black's Barbecue (left) is open 8 days a week (according to the sign) with great authentic Texas Barbeque.
Authentic Texas Barbeque means it does have sauce on it and does not need any.
Black's has a sauce they can give you on the side, but the Traveling Morgans never needed any.
Smitty's Barbecue is the
quintessential authentic Texas Barbeque.

The Traveling Morgans found Smitty's a little greasy for our taste.
Many people like it that way.

The owners of Raintree RV Resort (left) in
Rockport TX are highly recommended (Kim and Jeff Gordon).
It has some small sites, but the
owners make up for this deficiency in many other ways.
Nobody cares about their guests more than these fine folks.

Moore is the best way to see birds of the sea shore.
It is also one of the best ways to see dolphins we have ever experienced.
We saw far more Whooping Cranes than we could by visiting
the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge by car.
Our trip with Captain Tommy was simply outstanding.
Turtle Bay Cafe (left) is in a small nondescript building north of town.
It is the type of place many people will just pass by, unless a good friend recommends it.
It has great food and reasonable prices.
Certified Auto Repair has done a good job for us with our diesel pickup.

Chiropractic
in San Marcos TX is a good choice for chiropractic care.
Dr. Sarah and Dr. Rafael Moreno are the husband and wife team.
Jason's Deli is a chain.
The one in San Marcos is excellent with quality food
and reasonable prices.
Cafe on the Square is a nice place for a "Home Cooked" type meal. NOTE: Park your RV elsewhere. Downtown San Marcos has tight lanes and no place to park an RV.
Tickle Blagg Animal Hospital
is across TX80 from Wal Mart.
It is a caring place for your pet.
Roscoe had surgery there and received excellent care.
Blind Salamander RV Park is a small, quiet, relaxing RV park down a country road on the San Marcos River. They have monthly rates.
