Wall SD

When you are heading across South Dakota on I-90, you will want to see Badlands National Park.
We tend to not recommend the RV Sites in State or National Parks for a variety of reasons.
Private campgrounds near the park are our choice as supporters of private enterprise that is not subsidized.
There are also other interesting things in Wall such as Wall Drugs, the quintessential "tourist trap". Wall Drugs now takes a full city block and is the heart of downtown Wall. You can find any souvenirs you are likely to want for the area, and at generally good prices.

Wall got is name as the "Badlands Wall" is nearby in the National Park. Spring and Fall are better than summer in Wall. Smaller crowds and milder temperatures

Cactus Restaurant. Good food across the street from Wall Drugs.

Other places in Wall

Red Rock Restaurant. Our favorite place to eat in Wall.

Sleepy Hollow RV Park and Campground, about two blocks from Wall Drugs. Click on picture to go to their web site

Pennzoil Espresso. A place to have an Espresso while getting your oil changed. In a small town a business may have to cover multiple niches.

Wall is a good place to stop for a few days while exploring Badlands National Park.
